Big Thompson Canyon Association (BTCA) 50th Annual Pancake Breakfast!
Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 8 AM to 2 PM at the association bldg: 1479 US 34

Proceeds this year support our local Fire Department, the Big Thompson Watershed Coalition, and of course, help maintain the Big Thompson Canyon Association building, an important community resource.  Advance Ticket sales at: Sunny Jim’s Candy – Quick Print Shop – Whiteside’s Western Wear.

This year is the 50th Annual BTCA Pancake Breakfast!  As in the past we will be having an all you can eat breakfast feast – pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, coffee & juice!  There will also be a bake sale, charity raffle, and craft show.   The event takes place Sunday, June 3 from 8 AM to 2 PM at the association bldg: 1479 US 34, 1 mile east of Drake and the fire house next door.

This year the beneficiary of the raffle will be the Big Thompson Watershed Coalition, the folks that have been working hard to restore the ecology of the river and river banks while Kiewit and others are working on the road.  Information on their projects – past, present and future – can be found at www.bigthompson.co.   If anyone in the Storm Mountain area wishes to donate an item for the raffle please get in touch with me!

The hard working members of our local volunteer fire department   (https://www.facebook.com/CanyonFire/) will be assisting with traffic control and cooking.  The craft show will be in the fire house on US 34 next to the BTCA building; space rental fees from the crafters will benefit the fire department.  You will see many local crafters there.

The BTCA serves the Canyon and surrounding areas as a community gathering place and service organization.  It has been in the canyon for over 60 years.  Current information can be found on our new face book page  (https://www.facebook.com/Big-Thompson-Canyon-Association-433430547078759/) or web page (www.bigthompsoncanyonassociation.org).

Tickets for the breakfast are available now from Association members – I have some here and can get more.  The advance ticket cost is $7 for adults, $5 for children 4-9 and free for children under 4; tickets are $1 more at the door.

Questions?  Want tickets?  Have time to volunteer? Contact me at deb@joyfulhaven.com, or contact any other BTCA member.  Hope to see you there!

It takes volunteers to make this a success!

We need help on May 29 to accomplish a spring cleaning of building  (the more hands – the quicker the task)
We need help June 2 to set up the room
We need lots of help the day of (Sunday June 3) before, during and after!  Even an hour or two would be a big help!
Please contact Linda  (lindasvoboda57@gmail.com) or Deb Green (deb@joyfulhaven.com) if you have some time.
